OrthoVirginia, the premier orthopedic/musculoskeletal practice in Virginia, has opportunities for board‑certified/board‑eligible Physiatrists to join our practice in the Richmond and Blacksburg, VA areas.
Position Overview The successful candidate will work alongside specialists in general orthopedics, joint replacement, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma. The practice offers a direct pathway to becoming a share‑holding physician and the potential for participation in ancillary revenues such as imaging and physical therapy. This is a private practice/partnership track opportunity and candidates should be prepared to participate in general orthopedic call.
Qualifications Strong background in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Trained to care for general orthopedic conditions
Board Certification/Eligibility in MD or DO degree
Active/eligibility for Virginia state licensure
Common procedures: Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies
Joint and soft tissue injections
Ultrasound‑guided procedures
Spinal injections (epidural,
facet joint)
Management of musculoskeletal pain
Rehabilitation planning and management
Non‑surgical management of spine disorders
Treatment of sports injuries
Management of neurological disorders (stroke, spinal cord injury)
Pain management procedures

Compensation Range for this position: Central: $275,000 - $325,000.
