Job Summary

Duties

- Dispense medications accurately while adhering to medical terminology and pharmacy protocols
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including medication counseling and education tailored to pediatric and adult populations
- Support medication administration processes within hospital and acute care settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy plans for diverse patient needs
- Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, medication inventories, and patient interactions
- Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies,



and ensuring proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Stay informed about updates in medical guidelines and pharmaceutical regulations to uphold best practices

Experience

- Previous hospital experience or acute care pharmacy background is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, demonstrating sensitivity to their unique needs
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional patient care in fast-paced healthcare environments
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and record-keeping protocols
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
