Our partner is looking for a Ruby Script Developer based in Canada. This is an opportunity for an early-career software developer to build and maintain web applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.

You’ll collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.

The role combines backend development with frontend work, giving you exposure to technologies such as Vue.js, JavaScript, and SASS/CSS.

You’ll also work with cloud deployment, version control, and modern software engineering practices in a remote setting.

Your contributions will directly support the delivery and continuous improvement of business-critical applications.

Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop Ruby scripts and applications aligned with business needs. Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and scalable code using Ruby and Ruby on Rails. Develop and maintain frontend components using Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks. Deploy and manage applications using Heroku and support reliable cloud-based application operations.

Git version-control best practices and collaborate effectively within a development team. Create and maintain SASS/CSS stylesheets to deliver consistent, functional, and visually appealing user interfaces.



Apply common software engineering design patterns and development principles to produce high-quality, scalable solutions.

Stay current with developments in Ruby, web development, and related technologies to continuously improve technical capabilities. in Ruby scripting and software development. Ruby and Ruby on Rails .

Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js Heroku deployment and collaborative version-control practices. SASS/CSS for styling and maintaining web applications. Understanding and practical application of common software engineering design patterns. English communication skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote workplace.

Experience with DevOps practices, shared codebases, CircleCI , or automated testing is a plus. Full-time position with a remote work arrangement . Opportunity to work on Ruby and Ruby on Rails applications across backend and frontend technologies.
