IT Control Testing Specialist

IT Control Testing Specialist is responsible for evaluating and testing the effectiveness of IT controls to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. The role involves working closely with IT, risk, audit, and compliance teams to identify control gaps, assess risks, and support remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

- Solid experience in IT control testing.
- Plan, design, and execute IT control testing procedures, application controls, and automated controls.
- Document test plans, methodologies, results, and evidence in accordance with audit and compliance standards.
- Identify control deficiencies, assess their impact, and communicate findings to stakeholders.




- Collaborate with IT and business process owners to support remediation of control gaps.
- Monitor and report on the status of remediation activities and control improvements.

Required Skills

- Experience in IT controls testing, IT audit, risk management, or compliance.
- Knowledge of IT control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, SOX, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Solid analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with audit and testing tools (e.g., GRC platforms, Excel, audit management software).
- Must be fluent in speaking and writing in French.
