Dazzler Renewables is hiring an experienced Residential Solar Electrician to join our team in Edmonton

This position is focused on the electrical side of residential rooftop solar installations. We are looking for someone who is comfortable completing solar electrical work from the rooftop/attic all the way to the home's main electrical panel.

Previous residential solar electrical experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

- Install and wire Solar Deck / rooftop junction boxes.
- Run solar wiring from the roof through attics and residential structures.
- Install PVC conduit and complete clean, professional conduit runs.
- Run and terminate AC solar circuits.
- Install disconnects, junction boxes, breakers, and other solar electrical equipment.
- Complete connections at the main electrical panel and sub-panels.
- Install and connect microinverter systems.
- Complete system commissioning and basic troubleshooting.
- Read and follow single-line diagrams (SLDs), electrical drawings, and installation plans.
- Ensure electrical work meets the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirements.
- Coordinate with the solar installation crew to complete projects efficiently.
- Take clear completion photos and ensure electrical work is inspection-ready.

Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician certification is strongly preferred.
- Previous residential electrical experience required.




- Residential solar electrical experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with residential main panels, breakers, disconnects, and sub-panels.
- Comfortable running wire through attics and finished residential homes.
- Comfortable installing conduit on residential properties.
- Comfortable working on residential rooftops and using fall protection equipment.
- Able to read electrical drawings and SLDs.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.

Experience with APsystems, Hoymiles, Enphase, or other residential microinverter systems is an asset.

Experience
- Residential electrical: 2 years (preferred)
- Solar electrical: 1 year (preferred)
- Conduit installation: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification
- Alberta Journeyman Electrician Certificate (preferred)
- Class 5 Driver's Licence (required)
- Fall Protection Certificate (asset)

Willingness to Travel
- 50% (preferred)

Work Location: In person Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
