Our Team
Leads assist the Supervisors and Managers with all things lift operations in a day, including: setup and takedown of lift equipment, ensuring all lift documentation and safety checks are completed by lift operators, break rotations, team building activities, and overall staff moral and duties. A typical day will have the Team Leads moving around the Gondolas and Chairlifts assisting the operators and ensuring they have everything they need for their day at the lifts. Skiing or Snowboarding is a large part of this job, and being outside on the snow all day is required.
Essential Job Functions
Set up lift area for public to use, which includes putting up signs, maze equipment, garbage’s etc. and cleanup of the area at the end of a day.
Safely and efficiently help guests load and unload the gondolas and chairlifts while following all safe work procedures.
Complete daily safety checks and record on lift logs.
Assist ticket checking staff with ensuring every guest has a valid lift ticket.
Constant snow removal and snow work. This includes sweeping cabins/chairs, shoveling, ice chipping, and roof raking.
Always interact with guests and provide a high level of guest service. Provide professional service,
assist guests where needed and help create a protected, welcoming & enjoyable experience for every guest.
Assist team members at various other workstations with similar duties.
Required Qualifications and Abilities High school graduate
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Be able to provide proof of SIN – either card or document provided by Canadian government Must have a passion for the outdoors.
Must be able to do physical labor.
Self-motivated, able to work independently.
Mature, enthusiastic, and guest service oriented.
Must be able to work flexible shifts (we operate on weekends and holidays.)
Multilingual and first aid skills an asset, although not required.
Able to ski or snowboard an asset.
Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate clearly over a radio.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
This position is an outdoor position that has a lot of shoveling and physical labor.
Large team working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
