What You'll Do- Set up and operate CNC lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines
- Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, and drill presses
- Own the process from drawing review to completed parts, including programming, tooling order, machine setup, manual measurement,
and adjustments from CMM measurement
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering teams to develop machining processes for complex components
- Program components for machines using CAM software
- Maintain machine tools and equipment as needed
- Practice 5S cyclical methodology (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain) to drive continuous improvement in the lab workspace What You'll Bring- Red Seal certification preferred, or equivalent experience
- Ability to use CAM software to program parts for machining (Esprit and/or HyperMill)
- Experience working with tight tolerances in metric (microns)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Robust understanding of GD&T; as per ASME Y14.5
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
