Salary: $37.00 per hour / 30 hours per week

Responsibilities

- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Professionalism in customer service
- Load and unload goods
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargoy

Qualifications

- Required Language: English
- Required Licence: Valid commercial driver’s license (AZ Class Licence) with a clean driving record
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads and Sitting
- Starting Date: As soon as possible
