Sales and Service Manager, Eyesafe Program
Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Reports to: Executive Director
OBJECTIVE & SCOPE
Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with the Eyesafe Director, the Sales and Service Manager, supports the growth, relationship management, and operational success of the Eyesafe Program.
This role leads sales and stakeholder relationship management while serving as the project lead for the implementation and province-wide rollout of the new Vertex management platform. As the internal subject matter expert, you will coordinate implementation activities, develop training resources, and guide employers, member clinics, and internal stakeholders through a successful transition.
By combining strong relationship management with project leadership and continuous improvement, you will help modernize program delivery, strengthen client engagement, and support the continued growth of one of the Association's most valued member programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute strategies to grow employer participation in the Eyesafe Program.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand services.
- Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and webinars to promote the program.
- Represent the Association at meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Monitor market trends and recommend opportunities for program growth.
Vertex Implementation & Change Leadership
- Lead the implementation and province-wide rollout of the Vertex management platform.
- Serve as the Association's subject matter expert and primary resource for the platform.
- Develop implementation plans, training materials, user guides, and communication resources.
- Deliver training and ongoing support to employers, member clinics, and internal users.
- Coordinate with the software vendor and internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Monitor adoption, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to improve processes and the user experience.
Client Service & Program Operations
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for employers and program partners.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while resolving issues and coordinating solutions.
- Monitor program performance, analyze KPIs, and recommend operational improvements.
- Support day-to-day program operations and continuous process improvement.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate program documentation.
Marketing & Stakeholder Engagement
- Support marketing and communication initiatives that promote the Eyesafe Program.
- Develop educational resources, client communications, and webinars.
- Build collaborative relationships with provincial partners, suppliers, laboratories, and member clinics.
- Support strategic initiatives that strengthen the program and enhance member value.
REQUIREMENTS
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated success in sales, business development, account management, customer success, or client relationship management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Experience coordinating projects or leading initiatives involving technology implementation, software rollouts, or organizational change is considered a strong asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to proactively engage clients, facilitate meetings, deliver presentations, and provide training.
- Demonstrated accountability, initiative, and the ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.
- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify practical solutions and continuously improve processes.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities that strengthen client relationships and support program growth.
- Financial acumen (i.e. budgets, pricing, AP/AR)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using CRM or business management systems.
- Valid Saskatchewan driver's licence with the ability to travel throughout Saskatchewan as required.

- Experience within the optical, optometry, healthcare, occupational health, employee benefits, or insurance sectors.
- Experience developing marketing or client engagement initiatives.
- Experience analyzing data, monitoring KPIs, and preparing performance reports.
- Experience delivering presentations, webinars, or client education sessions.
