Serve as the primary liaison between MCI Private Sector Sales and Engineering, Sourcing, and Operations

Act as the voice of the customer through customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events

Review private sector coach configurations for completeness and technical accuracy

Consult with Engineering and other functions during specification reviews to secure technical and commercial buy-in

Approve private sector coach specifications, estimated costs, and pricing

Develop rapid-track configurations with Sales and Marketing

Create and maintain fixed cost and price values for coach features and options with Sales and Finance

Provide cost and price estimates for customer-requested specials

Assimilate customer, sales, and service feedback for Product Planning

Update product information, specification sheets, sales presentations, and training materials

Identify competitive strengths and weaknesses for product planning

Coordinate and host customer factory visits

Review and support MCI marketing information, including brochures, specification sheets, and webpages

Train Sales and Service groups on new products, features, and regulatory changes

Establish and follow policies and processes supporting regulatory, legal, quality, environmental, health,



and safety requirements

Travel as required

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent technical experience

Experience leading teams and managing projects

Detailed technical knowledge of MCI’s product offerings

Understanding of BOMs and the coach configuration process, including Coach Structure Charts

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Experience utilizing Power BI and other business intelligence tools

Some travel is required

Demonstrates expertise in product planning and management, with a strong focus on customer liaison, technical specifications, and regulatory compliance. Proficient in utilizing business intelligence tools and maintaining product roadmaps to drive strategic decisions.
