Introduction The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking an energetic, reliable, and detail-oriented Lot Attendant & Used Vehicle Photographer to support our Subaru Victoria dealership. This role combines the day-to-day responsibilities of maintaining and presenting our vehicle inventory with the opportunity to capture high-quality photos of our pre-owned vehicles for online listings.
As a key support to our Sales department, you’ll help ensure our inventory is clean, organized, properly positioned, and presented at its best—both on the lot and online. You’ll take pride in your attention to detail, photography skills, and ability to keep things moving in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour
This role reports to the General Sales Manager of the dealership.

Learn more about us here: https://www.jpautogroup.com/dealership/about.htm A Day in the Life Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of all vehicle inventory, including exterior washing and interior cleaning
Ensure new and pre-owned vehicles are clean, properly positioned, and displayed in a way that creates a positive first impression for customers
Maneuver, arrange, and relocate inventory and guest vehicles throughout the dealership lot with care
Prepare pre-owned vehicles for photography, ensuring they are clean, presentable, and ready to be photographed
Capture clear, consistent, and appealing photos of pre-owned vehicle inventory for use in online listings and marketing
Photograph vehicles from appropriate angles and ensure key features and details are accurately represented
Review photos for quality, consistency, lighting, cleanliness, and presentation before vehicles are posted online
Assist with the timely uploading and organization of vehicle photos and inventory information as required
Ensure vehicles are photographed and presented according to dealership standards
Monitor inventory for cleanliness, damage, missing items, or other issues and promptly report concerns to the appropriate manager
Ensure any potential issues with vehicles or dealership property are promptly reported
Safely use vehicle cleaning tools, equipment, cameras, and other applicable equipment
Maintain an organized and efficient vehicle photography area
Assist Sales and other dealership departments with vehicle movement and inventory needs
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information
Participate in maintaining a supportive, professional, and engaging working setting
Other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For A valid BC Driver’s Licence is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report
Previous experience in the automotive industry, vehicle detailing, photography, or a similar role is considered a strong asset
Previous experience photographing vehicles or other products for online listings is an asset
Basic knowledge of photography, including composition, lighting, framing, and image quality, is an asset
Comfortable learning and using digital cameras, smartphones, inventory systems, and other technology
Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred
Strong attention to detail and pride in presenting vehicles to a high standard
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Reliable, punctual, and dependable A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to support multiple dealership departments
Strong customer-service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
Ability to work independently while following established processes and dealership standards
Previous vehicle detailing or cleaning experience is an asset Physical Requirements
This is a physically active role and requires the following: Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot
Walking and/or standing for long periods
Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles
Washing and cleaning vehicles, which may include the use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, reaching, and lifting
Frequent movement around vehicles while photographing interiors and exteriors
Ability to safely move and position vehicles throughout the dealership property
Significant time spent outdoors in various weather conditions, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat
