The Opportunity
Join our growing Auto Claims team and manage complex and commercial auto claims while delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to apply your claims expertise, collaborate with key stakeholders, and make a meaningful impact through effective claim resolution.
What to Expect
Provide prompt, courteous, accurate, and fair claims service to all customers, internal and external
Manage complex and/or commercial auto claims
Fully explain the claim process to all customers in a way they’ll easily understand
Interpret and apply policy wordings to determine appropriate coverage under a customer’s policy
Ensure all claims are promptly and fully investigated, collaborating with fraud investigators when necessary
Work with the customer, broker, and preferred vendors to determine the best way to resolve the claim
Maintain detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systems
Process claims payments within your authority level
Initiate salvage and subrogation procedures on assigned claims
Achieve the targeted number of assigned claims per year, while living our core values and meeting competencies
Assist in expanding our Commercial Auto and Complex Auto teams
Achieve and maintain a file disposition rate of 100% on a monthly basis.
What You Bring
Professional, friendly,
and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and co‑workers
University degree in any discipline or college diploma, or the CIP designation
Minimum of 3 years experience handling moderately complex to complex automobile physical damage claims
Advanced knowledge of claims processes and procedures, including experience in both tort and DCPD provinces
Comfortable with change and able to adapt quickly
Ability to work efficiently in a high‑volume, fast‑paced setting
Strong analytical, decision‑making, and detail‑oriented organizational skills
Proficient with Windows‑based programs and excellent keyboarding skills
Team‑oriented approach, valuing collegiality and shared goal achievement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and attentive listening
Active license in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island (or willingness to obtain) is an asset
Bilingualism (French & English) is considered an asset
Salary range : $51,300 - $94,400 (Actual salary may vary based on location, skills, experience, and local labour market)

This role requires successful clearance of background checks, including criminal checks and leadership references.
