About the role
As an integral part of the Subcontracts Management team, the Subcontract Administrator will:

Draft subcontract terms and conditions

Draft teaming agreements, memoranda of understanding, and proprietary information agreements, and process agreements for approval

Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs)

Conduct competitive solicitations, evaluate proposals, and support source selections

Lead subcontract negotiations and, subsequently, through execution, manage subcontract documentation including drafting correspondence, tracking deliverables, processing invoices, and maintaining the contract file.

What you bring to the role

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration

Five to seven years of experience in subcontract administration or procurement within the defense sector

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

Knowledge of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) procurement regulations and terms

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience managing a subcontract in the construction sector will be considered an asset.

Language Requirements in Quebec
Knowledge of the English language is necessary for this position so that the candidate can perform all of their duties. The position described in this job offer requires the candidate to communicate daily with a virtual team outside of Quebec. The candidate will also need to communicate with various members of the organization, clients, and suppliers located outside of Canada. For engineering positions, the candidate will also need to be able to read or modify technical documents from our main clients and write technical documents for these same clients.
