Senior Accountant – Canadian Tax Service
Our Winnipeg office is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Canadian Tax Service team. The incumbent will be responsible for providing high‑quality tax services to clients while aligning with BDO’s values.

Responsibilities

Deal with tax authorities on tax audits and appeals.

Develop and implement strategies for clients to capitalize on business opportunities.

Identify and document tax filing positions, including risk analysis.

Prepare and review personal, corporate, and trust income tax returns and other tax information forms.

Research tax issues and prepare memoranda or client letters, writing reports at the appropriate level for the intended audience.

Qualifications

Completed or nearing completion of the CPA designation.

Enrolled in or pursuing an in‑depth tax course.

3+ years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in tax.

Strong understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax compliance and planning.
