About the Position
As part of a nonprofit organization dedicated to animal welfare and at the heart of a vital community mission, the veterinarian will join a passionate team of veterinarians and animal health technicians (AHTs).

The position offers stimulating challenges unique to a shelter environment and actively contributes to the ongoing evolution of practices and standards of care.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct medical examinations and provide follow-up care for sheltered animals.

Perform high-volume spay/neuter procedures, including those carried out as part of the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program.

Perform various surgical procedures (e.g., amputations, enucleations).





Collaborate closely with the team to establish and adjust treatment plans following examinations and follow-ups.

Provide tailored recommendations to adopters.

Opportunity to be involved in cases under the jurisdiction of the MAPAQ.

Requirements

Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

Member in valuable standing of the OMVQ.

Fluency in French.
