Shape Indigenous Affairs policy with PDAC as an Analyst, in a hybrid work environment. Focus on enhancing collaboration and stakeholder relationships within the mineral exploration sector.
As part of a talented team, the Analyst will support the Indigenous Affairs Program by conducting thorough research and developing materials to educate PDAC members on Indigenous engagement best practices. Leading committees and advocacy efforts will be vital to ensure that industry perspectives align with Indigenous interests and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead annual work planning for the Indigenous Affairs Committee
• Monitor and analyze policies related to Indigenous engagement
• Prepare advocacy materials, reports, and position papers
• Facilitate member workshops and discussions
• Coordinate Indigenous Program at conventions and events
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years experience in policy analysis related to Indigenous affairs
• Knowledge of land use and conservation strategies
• Solid writing and organizational skills
• Proven ability to foster professional relationships
