Description: The position supports the successful operations of the Retail Store and Gas Station while following protocol as of a Petro-Canada branded dealer. Key objective of the position is to provide customer satisfaction at all times.
Job duties are as follows but not limited to:
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the overall operations of the retail fuel station and convenience store.
Manage employees, delegate responsibilities, and ensure tasks are completed according to company standards.
Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and local competition to forecast sales and adjust strategies.
Decide on product offerings and services, and establish appropriate pricing and credit practices.




Identify suppliers, place orders, and negotiate pricing or terms to maintain inventory and control costs.
Create and execute promotional campaigns and in-store marketing initiatives to drive sales.
Prepare and manage budgets, approve expenses, and track financial performance including sales and margins.
Monitor customer service quality, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive customer experience.
Manage staffing needs, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and employee retention.
Performing the necessary tasks as the employee of a Petro-Canada branded dealer.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications Post-Secondary education
Minimum 1 year previous work experience in retail sales or customer service at managerial level
Additional Qualifications Ability to work a adaptable schedule to meet operational needs, including mornings, afternoons, graveyards and evening shifts. Please note our Gas Station operates 24/7, 7 days a week.
