The Opportunity
Sunoco LP is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist with expertise in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. This role is responsible for identity lifecycle operations, access troubleshooting, governance processes, and enterprise IAM initiatives.
Responsibilities
Perform identity lifecycle tasks in Active Directory, including provisioning, deprovisioning, group management, and mailbox administration
Troubleshoot access issues across file systems, applications, and authentication workflows
Maintain IAM standards, documentation, and operational procedures
Support identity governance processes and user self‑service access tools
Participate in AD migrations, domain consolidation,
and IAM modernization efforts
Provide on‑call support for critical identity services
Education
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in access management or IAM
At least 2 years in a formal IT environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities
Firm understanding of Active Directory structure, function, and IAM principles
High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in multi‑domain, multi‑forest environments
PowerShell scripting skills
Knowledge of domain migration best practices
Experience with Micro Focus (NetIQ) DRA
Familiarity with Sailpoint Identity IQ or similar IGA platform
