Carya is seeking a Counsellor committed to supporting older adults and families through the intake process. Deliver tailored, client-supported counselling with an emphasis on community integration.

This full time temporary role in Central Commons entails 37.5 hours weekly until April 2027. You will provide brief counselling sessions, manage case progress, and ensure ethical practices in assessments and referrals. Collaboration and compassionate communication with teams and community partners are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess needs and serve as the resource for older adults
• Provide targeted counselling for individuals and families
• Supervise and document case interventions effectively
• Work in tandem with partners for holistic service delivery
• Track service requests and maintain communication

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in social work or related area
• Current membership with a regulatory body
• Previous intake or assessment experience
• Familiarity with strength-based therapy
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
