About the Job
We are looking for a skilled Sales team leader passionate about Cloud technologies. This person will work closely with the Cloud Sales team, set the direction for the team, and ensure expectations are clearly defined, delivered on time, and maintain high quality. As a technical leader, you will handle escalations, provide transparent direction, and encourage continuous improvement of processes to better support the business.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Actively involved in the day‑to‑day operations of the Google Cloud sales team, ensuring priorities are correctly defined, prioritized, and delivered.
Coach and mentor the Sales team, driving skill uplift and helping them work through complex problems. Identify opportunities for growth and encourage continuous learning.
Identify and implement areas for improvement; define standards, governance, best practices, and encourage consistent adoption across all teams.
Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews and present them to clients and stakeholders.
Work with our training and learning teams to support ongoing development and progression for the team.
Act as a central escalation point for critical issues, ensuring the team responds appropriately and effectively when major incidents occur, and that key learnings are identified and acted upon.
Job Requirements
3–5 years of sales & product development experience in technology, advertising, Cloud, and/or SaaS, with general management experience and a track record of growing a market.
2+ years of experience leading a technical team, including effective coaching, mentoring, and team development.
Experience devising breakthrough plans to achieve, develop and maintain client relationships and accounts.
Sales leadership: Ability to open up and develop successful and long‑term business opportunities and relationships, to develop and close deals, and to build and run a pipeline both directly and through coaching.
Business leadership: strategic and commercial acumen, proven capability to develop and deliver a joined‑up business strategy that balances short‑term delivery with long‑term sustainable success.
People leadership:
strong interpersonal skills, ability to identify, attract and develop talent, comfortable and effective operating in a matrix environment, able to drive through influence, collaboration and inspiration.
Strong analytical skills to interrogate performance, develop actionable insights and galvanize action to capture opportunities.
Experience leading a call‑center sales team and familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.

Schedule
Fixed schedule Monday to Friday, 9‑hour shift from 9 AM to 6 PM.
Location Requirements
Candidates should be within travel distance of our primary locations: Yonge‑Eglinton & The Well, Downtown Toronto.
Hybrid setup; 4 weeks of product training will be on‑site.
