The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra is seeking a Principal Viola for a full time position with a 40-week season. The audition is scheduled for September 19, 2026, and the successful candidate is expected to start in October 2026. The annual salary for the 2026/2027 season is CAD 77,482.80, which includes a 10% pension contribution and a comprehensive health care plan. Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or have the appropriate work authorization from Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada. If you are a temporary resident, you must include a copy of your work authorization with your application.The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra reserves the right to screen candidates based on resumes and may request an audio recording as part of the application process.
