Position
Indigenous Language Ojibwe, Secondary OSSTF

Required Teaching Qualifications
A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
Intermediate Qualifications
Indigenous Language Qualifications

Position Criteria
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Indigenous Language and Culture
Proven experience teaching in the language
Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
Demonstrated experience with Apple based software and Mobile devices (iPad/MacBook/iMac)
Evidence of understanding of wide-ranging learners with a focus on ‘at-risk’ students
Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective
Evidence of integration of technology for the documentation and evaluation of student work




Ability to work as part of a school team and to communicate effectively
Demonstrated ability to utilize EDSBY to support student learning and guardian communication
