Key Responsibilities: Operational Management (60% Time Spent) Follow Security and client’s standards, rules, and policies.

Attend training, orientation sessions, and staff meetings as required by Guardteck Security.

If an incident occurs, report, and document in a detailed and accurate manner as well as follow emergency procedures. Report to the client and senior management along with a resolution and following actions to reduce hazards.

Ensure that guards are promoting an efficient, professional, and agile approach when dealing with difficult situations.

Assist and coach all employees to guarantee high-quality performance along with compliance related to rules, expectations, and standards.

Provide orientation and training to new employees.

Manage scheduling, time and attendance and own schedules in an effective and efficient manner.

Report to management any changes or discrepancies to employees’ hours.

Fully understand and be aware of the site layout.

Culture

Champion (20% Time Spent) Understand and meet the requirements of Fire and Life Safety for the property First Aid Compliance – Naloxone, AED checks and maintenance of First Aid Kits onsite

Fire Extinguisher Checks and keeping documentation up to date including sign offs

Provide constant constructive feedback, coaching, and training to enhance motivation and performance

Promote a collaborative culture in where all employees can rely on each other and improve motivation

Constantly interact with all employees to determine any issues and understand their needs

Enforce above and beyond customer service, performance, and high-quality deliverables

Preserve clients’ interests, needs, and wants at all times

Ensure that employees provide safety and security services to the property, customer and third parties

Ensure that incidents are being resolved efficiently and address the client’s needs.

Encourage service interactions and exchanges of information between employees and customers

Constantly communicate with clients to understand their needs, desires,



and worries in order to act accordingly.

Ad Hoc

Responsibilities (20% Time Spent): Escalate compliance with Occupation Health and Safety regulations

Assist in the implementation of new technology or software systems to improve operational efficiency

Report any accidents or injuries, ensuring timely completion of reports

Maintain a safe, clean work workplace

Support the planning and execution of company-wide initiatives or special events

Uphold and embody Kandor Managements core values, ensuring they are understood by all employees

Maintain strong professional relationships with co-workers, executives and Management

All other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Education: 1 to 2 years security experience or combination of education and experience.

Valid Security Licence and First AID CPR Certification

Completed basic security training – Conflict Management, Use of Force and other relevant training is an asset

Leadership training is an asset.

Ability to work independently and as a team player.

Outstanding customer service.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Outstanding leadership skills that promote a strong culture and motivates employees.

Knowledge of security system databases.
