For positions based in other jurisdictions, compensation will be determined in alignment with local regulations, market benchmarks, and internal compensation frameworks. The above range reflects the typical base salary range for candidates hired into this position. The actual salary will vary depending on a number of factors, including job location, experience, qualifications, education/training, skills, market conditions, and alignment with the role's requirements.In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in our annual incentive program,



payment under which is at the discretion of PartnerRe and subject to individual and company performance. Reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities are available upon request throughout the hiring process.About the role:Supporting the maintenance of all pricing and valuation models that use Moody's AXIS actuarial softwareTrack software issues and works with Moody's for software development needs and bug fixesTrack IT concerns and works collaboratively with IT regarding infrastructure, technology, and licencing matters relating to AXISParticipate in the training and mentoring of other team members in the use and development of models and toolsHelping to implement consistent modelling practices and methodologies across pricing and valuation models and across regionsPromote communication amongst valuation and pricing modelers to facilitate knowledge transfer and a collaborative environmentEnsure each product team follows a robust control framework and completes appropriate model testing and documentationContribute to the implementation of sufficient model controls for SOX, internal and external audit requirementsAnalyses of future potential model improvements or updatesHelping to coordinate Moody's AXIS update implementations and testing with IT and modeller staffWork with LDTI, IFRS 17, FGAAP and SII project leads to understand requirements for the extension of the AXIS valuation models to ensure compliance with the standards.Internal Model Development using AXIS as a measurement toolWork with consultants to complete final steps of model migration and modernisationQualifications:Technical SkillsSolid AXIS model development expertise is a requirement.Knowledge in relevant software: AXIS/Risk Integrity/IFRS 17 Link/US GAAP Link/R/SQL/Excel/VBA/Business ObjectsStrong product understanding and IT and data management skills; Reinsurance knowledge is an assetStrongly driven to streamline business processes, with an emphasis on automation and maintainabilityExperience in specification, development and testing of actuarial and data transformation softwareSoft SkillsOrganized, able to work in a matrix structureAble to set and manage prioritiesStrong communication skills and proficiency in EnglishHigh motivation, team-orientationKeen to work with other culturesWork Experience10 or more years working experience in Life reserving or pricing in the (re)insurance field, or related actuarial experience.Prior experience in the modelling of financial reporting regimes, including USGAAP LDTI, IFRS 17, SII, FGAAP, BMA, MAS, Embedded Value and Internal Capital Models would be advantageous.EducationExperienced qualified Actuary or professional with university degree in relevant field (Actuarial, Statistics, IT, Engineering)Additional Information#LI-Hybrid:PartnerRe provides a working environment in which diversity is valued, where all employees feel welcome, respected, and empowered to perform at their best.
