Midland Transport is currently looking for a 310T certified Truck & Trailer Mechanic at our Toronto Garage. The ideal candidates hold a Red Seal certification and have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Shift: Sunday – Wednesday Night shifts

Responsibilities
Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks
Complete routine maintenance and preventative service on engines, brakes, suspensions, electrical systems
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulations,



and company policies
Maintain accurate records of inspections, services, and repairs
Assist in identifying required parts and supplies for repair
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
Reporting nonconforming situations
Other duties as assigned by the shop supervisor

Qualifications
Truck and Coach Technician 310T certificate
Two or more years of relevant, hands-on experience post-certification
Solid understanding of diesel engines, aftertreatment/electrical diagnostics & air brake systems; experience working on trailers is an asset
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
