Job Description
We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. As our new Ground Laborer you will showcase your attention to detail and horticultural flair and maintain hotel grounds that provide a beautiful backdrop to every exceptional guest stay.

What you will be doing:

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards

Maintain flower beds, landscape plantings both indoor & outdoor

Mow, trim, water all turf areas of resort

Prepare landscape areas for repair or construction

Clean the property – litter, animal waste, recycling, hazard trees and yard debris

Plant, fertilize and pesticide usage on a periodic basis

Assist irrigation technician when necessary

Operate power tools and equipment while using proper personal protective equipment

Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:

Valid Alberta Driver’s License required

Previous experience in Landscape/Gardening an asset





Machine operating experience an asset: snowplow, grader & blade, bobcat, John Deere tractors 5200, 670, 855 & 3320

CPR and First Aid Certificates an asset

Ability to work outdoors in various elements such as rain, heat & snow required

Visa Requirements
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
