Job Summary
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator 1 (HEOI) to join our Transportation team. The role ensures operation of light and heavy equipment to support the construction and maintenance of highways, recreational roads, airstrips, and other facilities across Yukon.
Essential Qualifications
Experience operating various heavy equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, or other equipment.
Experience performing minor maintenance or servicing of equipment, including greasing, adjusting brakes, changing oil, filters, or air filters.
Experience completing pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections or other safety procedures.

Conditions of Employment
Yukon Class 3 driver’s licence with air endorsement
Pass TMB Competency assessment on heavy equipment (loader and dump truck)
Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate (to be obtained within 6 months of hire)

Wear steel‑toed work boots
