Serve the community as a Boiler Safety Specialist with Technical Safety BC in Prince George. This full-time position encompasses critical safety inspections, compliance, and educational outreach.

As a Boiler Safety Officer, you will guide industry stakeholders in understanding and applying safety codes effectively. Reporting to the Operations Leader, you'll conduct inspections and audits while also addressing safety concerns proactively. Your mentoring will help build a knowledgeable workforce for the future of safety enforcement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and monitor compliance with safety regulations
• Educate clients on safety standards and procedures
• Provide recommendations and disciplinary actions as needed
• Document all findings and support research projects
• Train and mentor junior Safety Officers in the field

Requirements:
• Completion of grade 12 or equivalent
• Five years of experience in a relevant field
• BC Power Engineer certification is preferred
• Commitment to obtaining NBIC qualification
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
