About This Role
We're seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team, someone who takes pride in their work, is resourceful, and values a culture of quality and professionalism.
What You'll Do
Building, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures, as well as other materials.
Understanding and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and drawings to ensure accuracy.
Measuring, cutting, and shaping materials with precision.
Installing various components, such as doors, windows, cabinets, and flooring.
Operating hand tools, power tools, and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Working independently or as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
Ensuring the work van is tidy and well‑organized at all times.
Arriving on time each day and effectively managing time to meet project deadlines and budgets.
Completing daily paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
Ten years experience in residential carpentry.
Ability to safely carry 80lbs.
Valid driver's license.
Steel toe work boots.
Outerwear for all seasons.
Tool pouch and all basic hand tools.
Cordless impact, drill, circular saw, reciprocating saw, oscillating saw, grinder, trouble light and charger.
Torpedo, 2 foot, and 4 foot levels.
Physical stamina to be on your for each work day and 44 hour work week.
Nice To Haves
Training in working at heights, articulating boom operation, and Schluter Systems would be an asset.
