Harbourfront Wealth Management

Saskatchewan

Harbourfront Wealth is a dynamic industry leader specializing in financial services and wealth management. We are a fast-growing wealth management firm with over $16 billion in assets under administration, comprised of five integrated entities: CIRO dealer, investment counsel, asset manager, U.S. Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and insurance company. At Harbourfront Wealth, our core values start with the belief that great people make great companies.

Career Opportunity
Fundamental Wealth, a wealth team within the Harbourfront group, is seeking a CFP, CPA, PFP or planning-focused professional who is passionate about helping clients make better financial decisions and building a rewarding long‑term career.

Why this opportunity is different
Many financial professionals are caught between two imperfect choices: remain an employee indefinitely or take on the risk and uncertainty of building their own practice.

At Fundamental Wealth, we've built a different path.

You will step into an established and growing retirement-focused practice with existing client relationships, a proven planning process, and a dedicated support team handling much of the administration, onboarding, compliance, and operational work.

Rather than spending your days prospecting, chasing sales targets, processing paperwork and submitting instructions, you'll focus on what you do best:

Building meaningful client relationships

Delivering comprehensive financial planning

Growing alongside a successful and expanding practice

You'll also benefit from a steady flow of prospective clients generated through our marketing initiatives, including educational content, seminars, and referral relationships.

As client relationships deepen and responsibilities expand, so will your compensation. There will also be opportunities to participate more directly in the long‑term growth and recurring revenue of the practice, creating alignment between your success, your clients' success, and the success of the firm.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain long‑term client relationships through regular communication and trust‑based advice

Deliver comprehensive, goals‑based financial planning across retirement, tax, estate, and investment needs

Act as the primary advisor for an existing portfolio of clients transitioned into your care

Provide tailored recommendations aligned with each client’s financial goals and life stage

Guide clients through retirement income planning and wealth preservation strategies

Collaborate with internal teams (operations, compliance, onboarding) to ensure a seamless client experience

Utilize a structured planning process to develop and present financial plans

Review and update client plans on an ongoing basis to reflect life changes and market conditions

Support client decision‑making with clear, thoughtful, and actionable advice

Stay current on financial planning best practices, tax considerations, and regulatory requirements

Participate in client meetings, reviews, and ongoing relationship management

Contribute to a team‑oriented environment focused on delivering high‑quality client outcomes

Qualifications

Experience as a CFP® within a bank, credit union, or wealth management firm, or is an associate advisor seeking greater opportunity and growth

A CPA designation holder with interest in expanding beyond tax compliance into comprehensive financial planning

A strong passion for client relationships and delivering thoughtful, goals‑based advice rather than sales‑driven targets

Proven ability to build trust and maintain long‑term client relationships through clear, proactive communication

Experience developing and delivering financial plans across retirement, tax, investment, and estate planning

A client‑first mindset, with a commitment to acting in clients’ best interests at all times

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and confidently

A collaborative, team‑oriented approach, working effectively with operations and support teams

An interest in continuous learning and staying current on industry trends, tax considerations, and regulatory requirements

Securities licensing (or willingness to obtain it)

This means that all job applicants and employees will receive equal treatment regardless of race, colour, ethnic or national origins, sex, marital status, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion, or belief.
