Mining Heavy Equipment Finish Operators - Kearl - 14/14 - Camp + Paid Flights - Up to $59.28/hr - Fort McMurray, AB North American Construction Group is seeking Heavy Equipment Finish Operators to join their mining team at the Kearl site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is an excellent prospect to work on one of the region’s largest and safest contracts, operating large dozers in a remote mining environment. The ideal candidates are experienced operators with a strong safety focus and a desire to grow within a leading company.

What You’ll Need Minimum 3 years experience as a Finish Dozer Operator on civil projects
Experience operating D3 to D8 sized Dozer or larger
Experience with muskeg/soft & wet ground
Experience building roads/corridors, backfilling pipe/trenches, sloping/spotting trucks
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education (asset)
Proficient in English (verbal and written)
Ability to follow instructions and ensure safe equipment operation
Valid CSO Certification
Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness or Energy Safety Canada Wildlife Awareness (Kearl only)
Ability to pass pre-employment testing: breath alcohol, urine drug, fitness-to-work, audiometric, vision, and criminal record check
What Will Make You Stand Out Minimum one year experience in a mining atmosphere preferred
