About The Opportunity

Our nationally recognized client in the downtown Ottawa area is looking for a Bilingual Payroll Administrator to join their organization on a contract basis. This organization values inclusivity and a positive company culture, paired with a competitive compensation package.

Duties
Perform time and attendance processing, interface with payroll system
Ensure accurate and timely bi-weekly timesheet processing while maximizing efficiencies, maintaining operational standards and adhering to department policies and procedures
Process CRA Source Deductions, Union Deductions
Process EHT/WSIB/WCB, remittances, etc.
Input changes to employee payroll records maintained in the payroll system
Process new hire records, termination records
Administer Records of Employment
Administer Benefits plan enrollment
Answer staff inquiries related to HR and Payroll in a skilled, timely manner




Keep up to date with payroll best practices and legislative changes
Conduct other Payroll, HR, and Administrative duties as needed.

About You
Strong communication skills in both official languages (English and French imperative)
Experience with ADP software is a strong asset
3+ years of experience in a similar role
Experience with Union payroll a strong asset
PCP designation, active or in pursuit, would be a strong asset
Solid attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize
Strong problem‑solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, self‑starter, team-oriented
Understanding & application of confidentiality

About the Job

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $43.00 to $48.00 based on previous relevant experience.
