Role
This role focuses on optimizing the environment for our MES – Manufacturing Execution System and associated subsystems in alignment with other major enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM, Quality and Project Management supporting all MDA sites. The Business Analyst analyzes complex business problems and provides automated sustainable solutions to the organization. The candidate supports the system development life cycle from design to testing phases. Interpretation, critical thinking, problem solving, communications and organizational skill are required. The candidate must have a good ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of interest for innovation.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective, meet user requirements and business policies.

Ensure compliance with MDA policies and cohesion of practices across sites.

Leverage utilization of core business systems and applications (ERP and Manufacturing Applications).

Recommend changes, propose alternatives, improvements and identify gaps where business needs are not being met.

Configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit,



integration and acceptance testing; and create specifications for systems to meet business requirements and policies.

Design details of system flows.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address business or systems issues.

Participate in technical design, testing, implementation plan, maintenance, system and technical support for system‑related initiatives.

Implement new technologies by assessing tools, software, and technological practices and maintaining compliance with MDA Data Governance policy.

Design training programs, create documentation and user guides, and deliver training to other team members.

Collaborate with other teams, team members and stakeholders.

Provide general systems analysis and design support for other business systems activities as required.

Use tools such as PowerBI, Excel, develop and report findings on key performance indicators, projections and performance analyses.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science/Information Technology or other relevant subject areas and/or proven business analyst professional experience.

2+ years of experience as a business analyst, with specific experience in MES, ERP and other associated systems.

Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) (Microsoft SQL Server).

Some programming experience (C#, Microsoft SQL and VB.Net).

Experience with reporting and business intelligence platforms: Power BI, IBM Cognos, Crystal Reports, Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) is a plus or equivalent.

Complete understanding of manufacturing, supply chain flow and quality.





Critical thinking, strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and a positive thinker.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Infor LN 10.7, Manufacturing Execution System and Quality Management System.

Experience with process mapping and workflow design tools.

Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence or other project management and documentation tools.

Proven experience as a tester in the software development environment.

Good understanding and ability to apply various process and design patterns.

Hands‑on experience in SOAP/REST API/web service.

Comments/Special Considerations
Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
