- Performance team. This is a hybrid role based out of our Surrey, BC Head Office and is a 12-month maternity leave coverage.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $71,200 to $89,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equityWestland is committed to continuous learning where employees can grow their potential and write the stories of their careers. - Disability Management, you will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, partnering with leaders, employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver competitive, compliant,
and sustainable programs that support attraction, retention, engagement, and Westland's broader people strategy.

Paid Volunteer Days for employees as part of Amplifying Communities, a program to support causes that matter most to our employees and clients Why we’ll love You: 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration, disability management, Total Rewards, human resources, or a related field Robust knowledge of Canadian benefits programs, disability management practices, employee leave programs, and Total Rewards principles Experience supporting benefits renewals, benchmarking activities, vendor relationships, employee communications, and program improvement initiatives Working knowledge of employment standards, privacy legislation, workers' compensation, accommodation requirements, human rights legislation, and other relevant regulatory requirements Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to review data, identify trends, and support practical recommendations Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
with the ability to explain complex benefits and disability-related information to a variety of audiences
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment CPHR, CEBS, CCP, or a related professional designation is considered an asset Once here, you'll: Support the administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of Westland's benefits, wellness, retirement, and disability management programs
Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to employees, leaders, Benefits Specialists, and People &
- Performance partners on benefits, wellness, leave, retirement, and disability-related matters
Coordinate benefit program administration, including enrolment processes, eligibility, employee communications, wellness initiatives, and plan documentation
Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Finance, Legal, and People &
- Performance teams to support accurate, compliant, and effective program delivery
Support benefits data integrity, reporting, audits, system enhancements, and process improvements within the HRIS environment
Assist with benefits integration activities related to acquisitions, including due diligence, employee communications, enrolment planning, and transition support
Conduct research, benchmarking, financial analysis, and trend reviews to evaluate program effectiveness and inform recommendations
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, consultants, insurers, retirement providers, wellness vendors, and disability management partners to enhance the employee experience and support organizational success
Support disability management programs, including short-term disability, long-term disability, workers' compensation, workplace accommodations, and return-to-work initiatives, while helping ensure compassionate and compliant case management practices Want to get to know each other better?
