What can you expect from this position?

Reporting to the Manager, Business Planning and Analysis, the Senior Analyst provides financial planning, forecasting, analytics, and decision-support expertise to Commercial Business Partnerships. This role plays a key part in developing strategic business plans, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, business cases,



and performance reporting that support informed decision-making across the organization. You will partner closely with business leaders to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights, identify opportunities, evaluate business initiatives, and help drive strong financial performance.

As a Senior Analyst, Business Planning and Analysis , you will:

- Partner with business leaders to support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term business planning activities.
- Develop and maintain financial models that provide insights into revenue, operating expenses, and capital investments.
- Analyze and evaluate new and existing business initiatives, including financial impact assessments, scenario analysis, and business cases.
- Provide financial guidance and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain financial and operational reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Monitor business performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions where appropriate.
- Present financial results and insights to stakeholders in a clear and meaningful way.
- Support procurement and investment evaluations to ensure strong financial stewardship and value for money.
- Conduct benchmarking, market analysis,



and ad hoc financial studies to support business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between business units and Finance teams to ensure alignment with financial policies, processes, and reporting requirement.

This is the role for you, if you have:

- A university degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- A CPA or CFA designation (or active pursuit of either designation) is considered an asset.
- 3+ of progressive experience in financial analysis, business planning, forecasting, reporting, corporate finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting commercial, retail, consumer products, real estate, transportation, aviation, or similarly complex business environments.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience building dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to support business decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems such as Oracle, Hyperion/Essbase, or Workday Adaptive.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into business insights.
- A customer-focused mindset and demonstrated ability to influence decision-making through data and analysis.
- Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
