Daily Responsibilities
- Serving as a Canadian Banking’s (CB’s) “Centre of Expertise” and support revenue generation and operational effectiveness through client treatment and direct marketing activities and ensures good client experience through alignment of clients to the marketing strategies and channels
- Manage the data required for the business partners to meet their business and financial imperatives
- Deliver complete, accurate and thorough marketing campaign, channel and/or client offer optimization that helps the business meet their imperatives
- Support the execution of marketing strategies to ensure efforts meet optimization and analysis requirements
- Act as Subject Matter Expert on relevant Data sources, Channels, and campaign design and execution standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders within Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance to design, build and deploy data-driven client treatments
- Evolve and optimize campaign test & learn design and build to ensure alignment to business and marketing objectives
- Automate evergreen campaigns
- Responsible for quality assurance to ensure the campaign requirements accurately match the design and build
- Ensure corporate reputation is maintained by adhering to all best practices, privacy & legal guidelines, data stewardship and governance policies

Must-have Skills:
- 5+ years speciality expertise - database / relationship marketing, use of analytical tools, data mining
- Experience with various data housing environments (e.g. Teradata, Unix, DataLake, cloud)
- Ability to function in a rapidly changing environment and reset priorities
- Highly organized and extremely detail oriented with continuous attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work steadily and accurately under pressure, especially during peak periods
- Time management
- Ability to breakdown problems into smaller pieces, think critically and communicate complex information
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a data analytical role: Analytical programming languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, R)
- Experience with various data housing environments (e.g. Teradata, Unix, DataLake, cloud)
- Ability to combine business acumen with technical expertise to deliver targeted campaigns on behalf of our business stakeholders
- Agile and critical mindset with the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
- Self-motivated, strong communication skills, attention to detail
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experienced in financial services, including understanding of marketing fundamentals
- Strong desire to learn new tools and try new concepts that evolve and optimize current processes
- Easily develop and convey thoughtful and insightful explanations
- Facilitation
- Experience in campaign design and delivery (test & learn design, statistical significance…etc)
