Position Summary

Hansen is seeking a highly capable Senior Business Process Optimization & ERP Coordinator to support business process optimization, ERP administration, reporting enhancement, data analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing and fabrication operations. This role requires robust hands-on proficiency in the MIE Trak ERP system and will serve as a key day-to-day ERP resource for the business.

The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service to maintain ERP discipline, improve data accuracy, support users, strengthen reporting, and drive workflow improvements. Over time, this role is expected to develop into the primary owner of day-to-day ERP responsibilities, effectively becoming the successor for routine ERP Manager activities related to MIE Trak administration, user support, reporting, and process control.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Analysis & Optimization

- Document and map current ("As-Is") business processes across manufacturing, engineering, estimating, purchasing, inventory, production, and shipping functions.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for standardization.
- Design and document optimized ("To-Be") workflows aligned with operational best practices and ERP capabilities.
- Recommend process improvements that enhance productivity, data accuracy, and operational visibility.

ERP Systems & Reporting

- Act as a day-to-day MIE Trak ERP resource, supporting system usage, user questions, reporting needs, data accuracy, and process discipline across departments.
- Maintain a high level of hands-on proficiency in MIE Trak, including core workflows related to estimating, work orders, purchasing, inventory, production planning, shipping, invoicing support, and reporting.
- Develop recommendations for new ERP reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
- Support users in defining reporting requirements across departments.
- Provide daily ERP support, troubleshoot process and reporting issues, validate ERP data, and escalate system or business-rule concerns when needed.
- Develop the capability to assume routine ERP Manager responsibilities,



including user coordination, report governance, process compliance, master data oversight, and ERP improvement follow-up.

Reporting Automation

- Identify manual reporting activities that can be automated through ERP functionality, Power BI, Excel, SQL queries, or related business intelligence tools.
- Develop business cases and implementation recommendations for report automation initiatives.
- Create automated dashboards and performance reporting tools for management review.
- Establish standardized reporting templates and data governance practices.

Data Analysis & Business Intelligence

- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to support decision-making.
- Monitor key manufacturing performance indicators including:
- On-Time Delivery (OTD)
- Production Efficiency
- Work Order Performance
- Inventory Accuracy
- Shop Capacity Utilization
- Purchasing and Supplier Performance
- Cost and Margin Analysis
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership through reports and presentations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Coordinate with Operations, Production, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
- Facilitate process review workshops and stakeholder interviews.
- Gather user requirements and translate them into actionable ERP and reporting improvements.
- Support change management and implementation of approved process enhancements.

Qualifications

Education

· Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

- Prior experience in manufacturing, fabrication, metalworking, industrial operations, or related sectors.

· Very strong hands-on proficiency with MIE Trak ERP is required; the candidate must be capable of becoming the primary day-to-day ERP support and administration resource. · Experience supporting ERP users, maintaining ERP data discipline, creating reports, troubleshooting process issues, and improving ERP adoption across cross-functional teams.




- Understanding of manufacturing workflows including estimating, scheduling, production planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Experience in process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies.

Technical Skills

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.

· Advanced understanding of MIE Trak reporting, ERP workflows, master data, user support, and business intelligence concepts.
- Familiarity with SQL, database querying, or reporting tools is an asset.
- Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar software.

Key Deliverables and Role Development Within the role, the Senior Coordinator is expected to:

· Become the primary day-to-day support resource for MIE Trak users across key business functions.

· Maintain and improve ERP process discipline, data accuracy, reporting consistency, and user adoption.

- Recommend ERP utilization enhancements and reporting improvements.
- Deliver a roadmap for report automation and dashboard development.
- Create management KPI dashboards and actionable insights.

· Develop into a successor for routine ERP Manager responsibilities covering MIE Trak administration, reporting governance, user support, and ERP-driven process control.
