At Humber River Health, Decision Support (DSS) plays a pivotal role in understanding the business/reporting needs of the hospital, identifying, tracking, analyzing and making recommendations for corrective action to financial/statistical utilization issues; and ensuring the hospital is meeting Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN), Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC), and other external regulatory/stakeholder reporting requirements.
As we continue to grow our operations,
we are seeking a Senior Capital Planning and Reporting Analyst to join our team. This individual is responsible for planning an reporting on operational and clinical capital expenditures, along with cash management duties to support daily operations.

Hours of Work: Must be available to work Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Salary Range: $95,200.89-$119,073.92
Reporting Relationship: Director of Finance
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate financial analysis for treasury, cash management and capital projects
- Prepare weekly cash position and projections to support management in liquidity strategies and payment priority decisions
- Support month-end financial close procedures including journal entry preparation for bank and capital asset transactions
- Prepare monthly account reconciliation and analysis
- Responsible for preparation of capital reports for the Ministries of Health and Long Term Care and other funding agencies
- Support the audit of capital project settlement submissions
- Provide accounting services for organizational or program projects
- Generate ad-hoc internal/external reports to update financial status of projects
- Collect and report data and statistics for retail income and expenses
- Assist on special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance required. Healthcare/Capital Finance experience preferred.
- Undergraduate level degree in Accounting/Finance required
- Strong knowledge of Capital accounting for hospital and government requirements.
- Experience working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required
- Strong Analytical skills, with ability to prioritize tasks. Leadership experience an asset.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, organization and problem-solving.
