Lead the Beyond the Bell After-School Program at YMCA in Prince George, BC. This part-time role focuses on supervising staff, supporting children, and organizing enriching activities daily.

As the Coordinator for the Beyond the Bell Program, you will work 25 hours weekly from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. You’ll supervise a small team and engage children in grades 1-5 through academics, sports, and creative arts. The role combines leadership and hands-on interaction with students, fostering a safe and supportive environment in alignment with YMCA’s core values.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support program leaders and staff
• Schedule staff and organize activities for children
• Act as primary contact for parents and school communication




• Complete administrative tasks like timesheet approvals
• Purchase supplies for engaging and safe program activities

Requirements:
• Experience with children in educational or recreational settings
• Previous leadership and staff supervision experience
• Solid communication skills, both spoken and written
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Criminal Record check required for employment
