Empower children and youth in the GTA as a Child and Youth Mentor with Rise & Reach Support Services. Deliver personalized mentorship and crisis intervention to enhance client well-being and growth.

This versatile position calls for individuals motivated to support children, youth, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental challenges. You will create customized support plans and build trusting relationships while employing crisis de-escalation techniques. Your role will significantly impact the lives of clients in residential homes and greater community settings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop tailored support plans for each client
• Provide one-on-one mentorship using a Big Brother & Big Sister model




• Implement effective crisis intervention strategies
• Foster positive relationships through reinforcement techniques
• Administer prescribed medication and manage documentation

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Social Services field
• 1-2 years’ experience with complex needs clients
• Current Broad Sector Check
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Access to an insured vehicle for client transport
