advising and giving practical on site application optionsAssisting with the communication and implementation of the company’s claims management and return to work programsBe proactive in recommending changes to improve the safety programsParticipate in the development and implementation of safety training programsConducting new worker safety orientationsProvide training services throughout the region as a Train-the-TrainerReport writing and maintaining all required documentationAttending and facilitating monthly safety committee meetings as requiredFrequent visits to job sites and branches supporting the work on hand.What We Are SeekingFormal education and/or training in Environmental/Occupational Health and Safety, NCSO or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years’ experience in a safety role within a construction environmentExperience working in the ICI construction industry, specifically dealing with flatroofs and architectural metal products is considered an assetKnowledge of the COR process is considered a robust assetSafety knowledge in Working at Heights, Fall Protection, Fire Protection and WHMISKnowledge and practical experience in incident investigationStrong administrative and organizational skillsComputer literate in Windows applications; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability to work with minimal supervisionValid driver’s license required$75,000 - $95,000 a year#J-18808-Ljbffr
