? Hiring: Digital Architect | Government of Alberta | Remote within Canada

We are looking for experienced Digital Architects to support digital transformation, service innovation, and modernization initiatives with the Government of Alberta.

? Location: Primarily Remote — work must be performed within Canada. Occasional onsite meetings in Alberta may be required.

? Contract: Initial 3 months, with potential extension of up to 24 months.

? Openings: 3

⏰ Hours: 36.25 hours/week

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software/Digital Architect

• 5+ years leading cross-functional Agile product teams

• Strong experience defining and communicating solution architecture

• Experience with UX/service design and multidisciplinary delivery teams

• Robust stakeholder and technical communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Public sector digital transformation





• RESTful APIs and integration architecture

• Secure development practices

• CI/CD and automated testing

• Legacy modernization

• Containers, orchestration & Infrastructure as Code

• Relational and non-relational databases

The role will involve leading solution architecture, guiding technical delivery, reviewing and contributing to code, identifying reusable digital capabilities, and mentoring product teams.
