About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm, is seeking an Employment Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years of post-call experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to work on a broad range of employment and labour matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Advise employers and employees on a variety of employment law matters.
Draft and review employment agreements, workplace policies, termination packages, and related documentation.
Provide strategic advice regarding workplace issues, human rights matters, employment standards, and wrongful dismissal claims.
Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other court materials.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
Manage files independently while collaborating with colleagues on complex matters.
Build and maintain solid client relationships.

Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in Ontario and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Minimum 3 years of employment law experience gained at a law firm.




Experience advising employers and/or employees on a broad range of workplace issues.
Strong advocacy, drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.
Ability to manage files independently and meet deadlines in a quick-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling labour law matters is considered an asset.
Advocacy experience before courts, tribunals, or administrative bodies is preferred.
Established business development skills or a desire to participate in business development initiatives is an asset.
