As a member of SaskPower's management team, this position is responsible for the effective utilization of financial, material, and human resources to manage, coordinate, and lead complex business initiatives from start to finish, ensuring alignment with departmental and corporate strategic goals and objectives. The role provides strategic advice and analysis to support major investment and financing decisions for nuclear development initiatives, including Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), and represents SaskPower in interactions with external financial partners and stakeholders.Key AccountabilitiesProvide leadership and direction to projects and major business initiatives related to nuclear financing, investment strategy, and funding approachesPlan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate projects and initiatives from start to finish according to timelines, objectives, and available resourcesLead the development of business cases, financial analysis,



and investment recommendations for large-scale capital projects, ensuring alignment with corporate strategic plans and forecasting initiativesLead the identification, assessment, and development of financing options, including debt markets, institutional investors, sovereign funds, and Indigenous equity partnershipsEstablish and manage strategic relationships with external investors, financial institutions, Indigenous partners, and industry stakeholders to support potential project fundingDevelop and implement frameworks, processes, and methodologies to support nuclear financing strategies and governance requirementsProvide strategic advice, recommendations, and reporting to senior leadership and Executive to inform investment decisions and corporate directionPrepare presentations, briefing materials, and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and executive leadershipRepresent SaskPower on matters both internal and external to the corporation, including engagement with financial partners and industry participantsMonitor project progress and provide updates on risks, opportunities, and outcomes associated with financing strategies and initiativesContribute to the development and continuous improvement of processes, standards,
