The organization is committed to protecting what matters most for clients while delivering competitive pricing and trusted advice.Role DescriptionThe Personal Lines Broker is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the broker will advise clients on personal lines products such as home, auto, and tenant insurance, assessing their needs and recommending suitable coverage options from multiple carriers. The Personal Lines Broker will respond to client inquiries, support claims reporting, follow up on outstanding information, and maintain solid relationships through clear communication and timely service. The role also involves staying current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements, and contributing to team goals and service standards.ResponsibilitiesConduct in‑person client meetings to develop a profitable portfolio of personal lines accounts while delivering an exceptional client experiencePrepare,
service and manage new business applications, quotations, binders, renewals, endorsements and cancellations with accuracy and efficiencyPresent insurance quotations and coverage recommendations professionally, clearly explaining policy features and options to help clients make informed decisionsBuild and maintain strong strategic relationships with clients, carrier underwriters and colleaguesDeliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and maintaining accurate client records in ActurisIdentify opportunities to generate new business and contribute to premium growth through cross‑selling, upselling and bundling insurance productsAchieve and exceed individual sales and retention targets through strategic business planning and proactive client engagementDevelop and maintain proficiency in Acturis and Applied Rating Service (ARS)Stay current on insurance market trends, carrier products, underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirementsQualificationsRIBO licence (Required)Minimum 2 years of experience in Personal Lines insuranceDemonstrated success in preparing insurance quotations with a proven ability to upsell, cross‑sell and identify new business opportunitiesStrong interpersonal, verbal communication and presentation skillsProven ability to manage a high‑volume portfolio while delivering exceptional client relationship managementComputer proficiency with experience using Acturis and Compu‑Quote (Applied Rating Services) is an assetOutstanding customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationshipsStrong analytical, problem‑solving and conflict resolution skillsHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
