The company works closely with producers to improve production efficiency, reduce operating costs, increase equipment reliability, and optimize field operations.We are seeking atrue hunterbased in theGrande Prairie or Fort St. John areawho enjoys prospecting, opening doors, building relationships, and winning new business. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who wants to take ownership of a large territory and make a measurable impact on revenue and market growth.The OpportunityReporting to the Canadian Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and winning new business with upstream oil & gas producers throughoutNorthwest Alberta and Northeast British Columbia.While you'll inherit a small portfolio of existing customers, the primary focus will be onnew business development— identifying prospects, creating opportunities, developing relationships, and expanding the company's presence across the territory.You'll be supported by an experienced team of engineers, technologists, and technical specialists and will act as a trusted advisor to operations teams, production personnel, engineers, and corporate decision-makers.This is primarily a sales and business development role — not a field service position.Dedicated technical and field service teams handle equipment installation, service, and troubleshooting, allowing you to focus on selling and developing customer relationships.The TerritoryThe territory includes:Grande PrairieFort St.
JohnDawson CreekGrande CacheRainbow LakeSurrounding production areasThis is ahome-office-based position with travelthroughout the territory.Candidates based inFort St. Johnwill typically be home every evening, while candidates based inGrande Prairiemay occasionally require overnight travel into the Fort St. John area.What You'll BringRequired QualificationsMinimum5 years of successful outside sales and business development experienceDemonstrated track record ofgenerating new business and growing revenueStrong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skillsAbility to work independently while managing a large geographic territorySolid understanding of theoil & gas industryComfortable spending significant time in the field meeting customers and prospectsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge ofupstream oil & gas production operationsUnderstanding of producing wells and common operational challengesExisting relationships withproducers, operators, production teams, and field personnelExperience selling industrial, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, production, or other technical solutionsTechnical aptitude and the ability to confidently discuss customer operations and production challengesWhat You'll DoProspect and secure new customers throughout the territoryBuild long-term relationships with upstream producers and operatorsIdentify and develop new sales opportunitiesGrow revenue and market share through strategic business developmentIdentify retrofit, standardization,
and production optimization opportunitiesUnderstand customer operations and identify opportunities where the company's solutions can add valueCollaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop customer-focused solutionsManage the sales pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunitiesDemonstrate measurable business development and revenue-growth achievementsTraining & SupportYou'll receive comprehensive onboarding and ongoing support.
