Explore this exciting Accountant /Accounting Manager opportunity with our Client, Taylor Volkswagen, as a result of an upcoming retirement. Reporting to the General Manager and leading a team of 2 Accounting Clerks, you will provide full cycle accounting, financial analysis and reporting for this reputable dealership located in East Regina.

Responsibilities include:

Provide full-cycle financial accounting including A/P, A/R, journal entries, bank/credit card reconciliations and reporting.

Provide leadership and coach the Accounting Clerks, instilling a motivated and positive work team. Ensure organizational ethics and values are intact and lived within the workplace.

Prepare / process and submit government remittances including GST, PST and payroll source deductions and regulatory filings.

Compile financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely reports to stakeholders.

Assess,



track and process product sales and service documents.

Assist with accounting cashflow, insurance and budgeting.

Coordinate required payroll documents and information for processing.

You will bring:

Degree/Diploma in Financial Accounting and/or Business Administration is preferred. CPA designation is an asset.

Proficiency in full cycle accounting utilizing accounting software programs. Experience in a product sales/service work setting is an asset.

Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities.

Personal integrity, honesty and strong work ethics. Committed and willing to lead and work within the values and ethics of the organization.
