Help ensure Alberta’s highways are safe this winter as a Winter Road Maintenance Operator with Ledcor Highways Ltd. This seasonal position offers hands-on work with various heavy equipment throughout the province.
Ledcor Highways Ltd. is on the lookout for enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals for winter road maintenance from October 1st to April 30th, with potential for year-round roles. Ideal candidates will hold a valid Class 1, 2, or 3 license and exhibit a commitment to safety and community. This position requires physical endurance for various outdoor tasks and provides extensive training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate snowplow trucks and wheel loaders
• Perform crack sealing and pothole repair




• Maintain signage and perform hazard remediation
• Engage in work under varying weather conditions
• Assist in general labourer duties as needed
Requirements:
• Explicit 3-year driver’s abstract
• Valid Class 1, 2, or 3 license with air endorsement
• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior experience with snowplowing is an asset
