Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: Experience an asset or equivalent experience Tasks Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Utilize hand and power tools Ensure safety procedures are followed Support for youths Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work setting for youth Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
