We are looking for a Controller to lead the firms internal finance function in Coquitlam, British Columbia.

In this role, you will oversee financial reporting, planning, compliance, and operational analysis while supporting leadership with timely, practical insights.

Responsibilities: Direct the organizations day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely internal financial reporting.

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including review of reconciliations, entries, and supporting documentation.

Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analysis that help leadership assess performance and make informed decisions.

Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning process, and provide recommendations based on trends and financial results.





Strengthen internal controls, refine finance procedures, and support risk management through consistent oversight and process review.

Oversee payroll administration, statutory remittances, and compliance with tax and other regulatory obligations.

Identify opportunities to improve finance systems, automate routine work, and enhance reporting capabilities across the firm.

Maintain productive relationships with external advisors, banking partners, and other service providers.

Support and guide team members by sharing knowledge, setting clear expectations, and encouraging a high-performance, collaborative culture.

Contribute to strategic and cross-functional initiatives as a financial advisor to ownership and senior leadership.
